From the amenities, to the helpful and friendly staff, Ascend Camp & Retreat Center is second to none. They offer a variety of camping options including RV sites, cabins, and more traditional tent camp sites.

The campground also offers amazing amenities to make your stay enjoyable. There are multiple showers and restrooms throughout the grounds which were kept very clean during my stay. I was also impressed with the swimming pool and game room for those hot summer days!

Additionally, I was very pleased with their staff. Everyone from the office to maintenance was incredibly friendly and willing to help me in whatever way needed. They even provided some great tips on activities in the area that were not known to me beforehand.

Lake Park Campground

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms and treated with a warmth that only comes from knowing you are in a place that truly cares about their guests. The campsite is nicely landscaped and well-maintained, making it one of the most pleasant camping experiences I have had.

The facilities themselves were top notch. The bathrooms were clean and comfortable, and the showers were hot! In addition, all of the campsites had power and water hookups, allowing us to make the most out of our stay.

Most importantly, Lake Park Campground offers exciting activities for campers of all ages. We went canoeing on the lake, fished at nearby ponds, took part in a guided nature tour of the park and even went horseback riding! It was truly an unforgettable experience.
