Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek

From the moment you step into the lobby, you know this is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience. The beautifully classic yet contemporary design made me feel both right at home and like I was in some far away land.

The service was outstanding - everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful and kind. We were looking for family-friendly activities and they had it all! Our kids had a blast with the children's pool, game room, playgrounds, and movie theater.

The rooms themselves were modernly designed with all the amenities one could want from luxurious beds to complimentary Wi-Fi. The location is perfect - it's situated right in the heart of Uptown Dallas, close to all of the main attractions and within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and bars. The staff at The Highland Dallas is friendly, professional and welcoming; no matter what your needs are they will go out of their way to help you.

One of the best features is their luxurious pool, which features a terrace and a lounge area with music playing. My kids loved playing in the pool, while I could relax and enjoy some drinks at the poolside bar.

The spacious rooms come with cozy beds, large flat-screen TVs and mini-bars. For extra convenience there are also complimentary Wi-Fi connection, free local calls and room service available 24/7.

The facilities were great for us as families. We had access to a games room where my kids could play video games, a fitness centre to stay active and even an outdoor running track. There was also plenty of kid-friendly activities for them throughout their stay.

Our experience wouldn't have been complete without trying out the exquisite food at their restaurant - Uchi. We definitely left feeling full and satisfied!

The Lumen has a perfect location right in the heart of downtown Dallas, allowing your family to enjoy all the city has to offer. From convenient access to the DART station, you can quickly get around town.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable with an array of amenities for a party of any size. With our family of five, we felt at home thanks to the two queen beds and additional sofa bed that could sleep up to two children. It was also fully equipped with a kitchenette with utensils and appliances should you need them. The bathrooms were super clean and the free Wi-Fi was fast enough for us all to stay connected during our stay.

The best part about The Lumen though is its staff! Everyone we interacted with went above and beyond by providing excellent service and very helpful advice on things to do in the area. The concierge was a great resource as well as they had plenty of suggestions on places to go or activities that would be suitable for our young kids.
