I've been fishing in the lake for years now, and it's definitely one of my favorites. The lake is huge with plenty of spots to cast your line. There are a variety of fish in the lake including bass, catfish, sunfish, and crappie. All of these fish can be found in large numbers throughout the entire lake making it an ideal spot for any fishermen.
The convenience of White Rock Lake also makes it an ideal place for fishing. It's located very close to downtown Dallas and easily accessible via several highways. Plus, there are 10 boat ramps along the shores which makes it easy to find a launching spot that's convenient for you.
But what really sets White Rock Lake apart from other lakes is its abundance of fish! The sheer number of bass, catfish, sunfish, and crappie is simply amazing. It's not uncommon to catch multiple fish within a few minutes while fishing here--I've even seen anglers catch as many as five or six in one outing!
Overall, White Rock Lake is one of the best fishing spots in Dallas ! Its convenience and vast array of fish make it an enjoyable spot to spend some time fishing. Highly recommended!
