Coombs Creek Trail

The diversity in terrain is great, with smooth hard packed single track, to rocks and bumps, to some tricky switch-backs. The short sections of climbing offer a great workout as well as the opportunity for speed on the downhills. I also enjoyed navigating my way through the big berms.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much wildlife I encountered along the trail – deer, lizards, rabbits, and more! It was nice to see so many animals living in the park.

The real highlight was that the Coombs Creek Trail is open all year long without any restrictions or closures due to weather conditions. That made it possible for me to enjoy a mountain bike ride on mild winter days when other trails were closed.
