Far North Dallas' Best Restaurants [Updated 2024]

I'm so lucky to have plenty of experience with restaurants here from growing up in the area, and I'm excited to share my favorite spots with you.

In this article, I'll review six of the top restaurants in Far North Dallas - all places I've personally dined at and rated highly. I'll offer a lighthearted analysis of each one, but please feel free to give them a try and come up with your own opinion!

Speranza Italian Restaurant

The moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I was transported to a different place. The atmosphere is romantic and cozy, and the Italian-inspired decor complemented it perfectly.

The service was outstanding! As soon as I sat down, my server introduced himself and offered me some recommendations on what to order based on my dietary preferences. He was attentive throughout the meal, and even gave me helpful suggestions about some of the dishes he liked best.

The food at Speranza Italian Restaurant was simply exquisite! Everything from the classic spaghetti bolognese to their seafood pasta was cooked to perfection. The flavors were spot-on and there were plenty of choices for vegetarians too.

Selda Mediterranean Kitchen & Bar

The restaurant's atmosphere is what really sets it apart from other restaurants. It has a cozy and inviting feel that makes you want to stay the entire evening. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure everything was perfect for us.

The food was outstanding! The flavors of the Mediterranean cuisine that they serve were absolutely delicious. From the hummus to the kabobs, each dish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We also had a great variety on our plate from salads to seafood entrees, which made for great conversation between diners as we enjoyed our meal.

We tried some of their signature cocktails too, which were amazingly flavorful and unique. This definitely added to the experience and made it even more enjoyable.

Overall Selda Mediterranean Kitchen & Bar is hands down one of my favorite places in Far North Dallas for an amazing dinner with friends or family!

Casa Mama's Restaurant

The atmosphere at Casa Mama's Restaurant is welcoming and vibrant. I felt as if I was eating in someone's living room - complete with the rich aromas of Mexican cuisine! The staff was friendly and courteous, ready to answer any questions I had about the food. The decor was simple yet sophisticated and it provided a great atmosphere for conversation and gathering with friends.

The food at Casa Mama's Restaurant is simply outstanding. From their signature Enchiladas to their Tamales, every dish was cooked to perfection. The flavors were so rich and flavorful that it felt like I was tasting a piece of Mexico. Every dish on the menu has its own unique flavor that always kept me coming back for more.

Overall, Casa Mama's Restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Far North Dallas. The atmosphere, staff, and food all combine to create an unforgettable experience that will have you wanting to come back time and time again!

Panevino Osteria

I had the pleasure of visiting this amazing Italian restaurant and was truly blown away. The atmosphere is inviting yet modern, making it the perfect place for any occasion, be it a romantic dinner or a night out with friends.

The food at Panevino Osteria is nothing short of spectacular. They offer an extensive selection of appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, sandwiches, pizzas and desserts that are sure to please even the pickiest of eaters. My favorite dish was their Spaghetti Carbonara; the sauce was creamy yet had a slight kick that really made it stand out from others I've tried.

What really sets Panevino Osteria apart from other restaurants in Far North Dallas is their wine selection. Their sommeliers have hand-selected wines from all over Italy to pair perfectly with each course. Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed in my selections!

The service at Panevino Osteria was also top-notch; our waiter was knowledgeable about all the dishes and specialties and gave us great recommendations throughout our meal.

Stir Cafe

The venue itself is average size, and the atmosphere is inviting. With the furniture and decorations, it feels like I'm in a different place altogether! The music playing was also great.

The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. They quickly got me seated and took my order without any hassle.

I decided to try their signature dish: Stir Fried Rice which was really good. The vegetables were freshly chopped, the meat was cooked to perfection, and the spices were just right. It provided an explosion of flavor with every bite!

Their drinks menu is also varied with a wide selection of coffees, teas, juices, and smoothies - something for everyone to enjoy.

Overall Stir Cafe would get an A+ from me for its incredible food and warm service! I will definitely be coming back soon.
