I was beyond impressed the first time I tried Dodie's. Their shrimp and grits have a perfect balance of creamy, cheesy and buttery flavors that blend together perfectly. The shrimp are cooked to perfection each time - juicy and tender with just the right amount of crispiness on the outside. The grits are also just right -smooth, creamy and delicious!

The Cajun Cafe & Lounge lives up to its reputation and has some of the best shrimp and grits in the city. The meal is served with jumbo shrimp, crispy bacon, creamy grits and a tangy sauce that brings it all together. It was obviously made with quality ingredients and cooked to perfection.

The atmosphere at The Free Man Cajun Cafe & Lounge is also quite nice. Its walls are adorned with art from local artists and evoke a warm vibe for customers. The staff were friendly and attentive; they were always willing to answer questions and make sure my food arrived quickly.

After trying shrimp and grits at many other places, I can confidently say that Snooze, an A.M. Eatery has the best version. The shrimp was cooked perfectly to tenderness and had a wonderful flavor that was complemented well by the creamy grits. The rest of the dish was well balanced in terms of flavors and spices - it wasn't too salty or spicy but still had enough flavor to be enjoyable.

I was really impressed by the flavor and texture of their shrimp and grits. The jalapeno-cheddar grits were creamy, cheesy and spicy, without being overpowering. The shrimp were cooked perfectly -- crispy on the outside with a juicy interior.

The presentation was also very pleasing; everything was thoughtfully plated in a way that made it look like an artwork. I liked their use of seasonal vegetables to garnish the dish which added an extra level of flavor and visual appeal.
